Ashes to ashes and dust to dust...

John Ashcroft is approved as United States Attorney General over liberal Democrat special interest group fuss!

It's February 1, 2001; over the objections of the extreme National Socialist Wing of the Democrat Party, driven by the feeding frenzy of radical liberal minority special interest group money, John Ashcroft was confirmed as Attorney General of the United States by a vote of fifty-eight to forty-two.

All fifty Republican Senators voted for approval, with a dismall but courageous few from the Democrat Party joining them in the spirit of cooperation which President George W. Bush has vowed to keep building in Washington. The small hand full of Democrats who managed to find the courage to be objective and to vote with their minds instead of their special interest group dollar bulging wallets must be heralded as the heroes they may well be. A few folks may argue that their decisions to vote for Ashcroft may be politically motivated, some being from states which went with a heavy majority vote for George W. Bush for president last November 2000, but I believe these non-partisan Democrats must be held up as fine examples of those who wish to get something done legislatively and not those wanting to make political hay mountains out of liberal special interest minority group mole hills. These brave individuals included: John Breaux of Louisiana, Robert C. Byrd of West Virginia, Kent Conrad of North Dakota, Christopher Dodd of Connecticut, Byron Dorgan of North Dakota, Russel Feingold of Wisconsin and Ben Nelson of Nebraska.

During open debate on the Senate floor, the GOP stuck to the facts and Ashcroft's empirically observable record, while the vast majority of the special interest group obedience trained Democrats could only repeat the lies and inuendo associated with DIRTYcRAT-SPEAK, already proven to be the intentionally false statements of fact they are. Among the bright spots in the Democrat Party was Senator Christopher Dodd, with who I rarely agree. In a time when the Democrats as a pack were attacking Ashcroft as some racist bigot or religious demon, using their buzz word of RACIST as many times as possible, Dodd said strongly, " Racist...I do not believe such a potent word applies ".

FINALLY A GROUP OF DEMOCRATS WHO WILL STAND UP TO THE LIKES OF AL SHARPTON, THE GAY LOBBY, JESSE JACKSON, THE NAACP AND NOW, APPEARS OUT OF THE CLOUD OF SMOKE AND MIRRORS!

We now have a clear insight into the collective consciousness of the morally bankrupt Democrat Party and the efforts to which it ( they ) will sink to be ( bi ) partisan. If anything is to be accomplished in Washington D.C., the National Socialist Wing of The Democrat Party must be wrestled from power by the more moderate members of the Democrat Party in general. Leaving the far, far left in control of the Democrat Party will only drive it deeper into the pockets of the radical extremist liberal special interest minority groups!

I remember a time when the Senate Democrats had respect for the truth and would work with the GOP, but the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dick Durbin, Dianne Feinstein and Charles Schumer have Harkined back to the dung heap we call the House of Representitives, where violent political partisanship abounds. Breaux, Byrd, Conrad, Dodd, Dorgan, Feingold, Miller and Nelson must become the new leaders of the Democrat Party, willing to work with the other side, as opposed to seeing every disagreement as a chance to score partisan political points toward the next election contest!

I suppose we should all be glad that VPOTUS Dick Cheney didn't have to break a tie vote?
